5 Best Baguio Spa to Get a Massage In this 2021

Hands up in the air for #massageislife! If you're looking for the best spas to visit in Baguio city, this is the guide for you. We're not talking about luxury spots but those worth your money.

After all, I believe the best massage therapists I've found are all here and their rate is between P500 to P1000 at best.

I've ranked them from #5 to #1 according to amenities, service, and actual skill.

#5 Baguio Castle Spa

The Low-Key Mansion Spa

If you like quiet places with not a lot of people you'll enjoy your visit to Baguio Castle Spa. It's 11 minutes away from baguio burnham park hidden behind the Koresto Buffet restaurant.

After the massage you can enjoy the cafes and restaurants surrounding it for an epic night of relaxation! The prices are reasonable and you can get a one-hour massage for only P588.

Make reservations through their contact number 0917 320 0747.

Price (Subject to Change)

The prices start at P448 and doesn't exceed your P1000 budget. For a grand spa house, the rates are affordable.

Amenities

This spa has a huge lobby, personal dressing room and lockers, clean restroom and a massage area divided by big curtains. They have a 3-car parking lot and it's near the burnham so it's accessible. They provide you with a bathrobe and a hot towel after the session.

Customer Service

The customer service was so-so. They serve you the way therapists are trained to do. Since it's the pandemic, you won't be seeing their smiles but the care is there.

Mastery & Skill

Even with their classic combination massage, you'll be able to see the skill of the therapist. The presses were firm and precise. The movement was graceful and unhurried (of course better to get a 30 minute extension to their one hour massage. You can really discern the shiatsu from the swedish and thai massage. Definitely, their massage services are no-doubt wonderful.

Recommendations

I recommend getting the combination massage and extend it to an hour. The base price is P588 so you'll be adding only a hundred for that extra 30 minutes. I only paid P688 for a well-done massage, good service, and nice amenities. It should definitely be on your list.

#4 North Haven Spa - Casa Vallejo Upper Session Road

The Most Accessible Spa

North Haven Spa located at Casa Vallejo Upper session road is the nearest one in town. It's beside SM City Baguio right before the famous Igorot sculptures at FIESTA restaurant.

They have a fancy reputation in Baguio so better message them first via messenger or text. You'll love the place for its wooden bamboo theme and the view of pine trees from the windows are beautiful.

For reservations, contact 09175081349

Price (Subject to Change)

Amenities

They have a big parking lot right below the Casa Vallejo building. There are also extra parking spaces right in front of the building if you're not coming in during rush hours.

You'll be asked to sign up at the entrance and they'll lead you into the lobby. Once you get your slippers on (they provide it), you'll get a "menu" of their services. you'll have to pay first so prepare your cash or card.

They'll give you a cute locker to put your stuff in along with a bathrobe and shorts. You'll love their aesthetic bathroom/restroom! It's very clean and adorned with little art pieces and a window that overlooks more pine trees.

The beds and pillows are cozy and you'll hear faint relaxing music playing in the background. It's not as alluring to the senses but you'll still enjoy either one of their dim-lit or window-lit rooms.

My biggest problem was actually their cold room temperature. Baguio is still Baguio and I could remember feeling the oil freezing on my back 😖 . Since the windows are open, it lets in gusts of wind sometimes. That's really cool in the summertime but not as much when ber-months hit.

Customer Service

10/10 customer service. I haven't tried a rude therapist here before and even the cashier is nice. They know the drill and they keep just the right amount of care to help you feel comfortable.

Mastery & Skill

8/10. Each therapist here may have their personal technique. Some use elbows while others don't. You may want to learn the name of your therapist if you liked her style because otherwise, it's a hit and miss.

They have great employees but you shouldn't expect a standardized method.

Recommendations

Try their Hilot and Ventosa massage to get the "lamig" out of your system. The ventosa cups will be placed all over your back to suck out the toxins underneath your skin. Meanwhile, hilot is great for kneading your stiff muscles back to normal.

#3 HANDS Aesthetic - Lourdes Subdivision

The Best Customer Service

Hands Aesthetic is run by a cool lady and her trusted female therapists. It's located at Lourdes Subdivision. Yes, it's 10 minutes by car from the city so you'll need to get a taxi or jeep going to lourdes (behind Abanao Building).

You might wonder "Baket pa ako pupunta kung malayo?" but I promise you hindi ka magsisisi sa pagpunta dito! Seriously though, the staff is great, the place is great, and the massage is great. Di ka pwedeng lumabas dito na hindi relaxed ang utak at katawan mo.

They love to offer packages and promos so don't forget to check their page every month!

Call for reservations at 0908 263 1371.

Amenities

11/10. Panalong panalo ka sa amenities ni HANDS Aesthetic. You have a driveway parking for my fellow drivers out there. When you get in it looks like a cafe! Well lighted and cozy to look at.

They get you to change in some slippers and proceed to gently clean your feet with a foot bath. Of course, they skip this step if you get the sauna package.

You'll be brought to a room divided with curtains and you can change into clean shorts or a bath robe. If you do get the sauna package, that comes with a free shower! They provide the shampoo and soap too! Feeling nasa hotel ka tuloy haha.

Ito pa, they have a heated bed! Hindi ka lalamigin dito siz.

They have a clean restroom separate from the bathroom and after the session, you can enjoy a cup of hot tea while you rate their services and therapist on their evaluation sheet. I think that's really nice!

Customer Service

10/10. The therapists here are really sweet and caring. It feels like a spa-version of starbucks actually haha. They lead you and follow the protocols well. You won't be afraid to ask them or talk to them because they're friendly. Feeling right-at-home ka tuloy.

Mastery & Skill

8/10. Pwede pa magimprove pero enjoy paren yung massage. They sometimes forget to be consistent with their techniques (iba yung ginagawa sa right tas iba sa left side) but it's not out of laziness.

They're actually very into the massage session. You'll notice they aren't rushing but slowly kneading and pressing your muscles. For a person who likes shiatsu and deep tissue techniques, you might look for more but overall, they don't miss a spot.

Recommendations

Their signature package is the Sauna+Shower+Hot Stone Massage and you HAVE to try it! Since their package changes every month, the price isn't set but it won't go above 1000.

The hot stones are really rubbed into your soul (hindi yung pinatong lang) and I super appreciate that!

Basta wag papalampasin yung traditional Sauna nila!

#2 Jade Wellness and Beauty Center - Laubach Rd

The Hidden-Gem of Great Massage

Jade Wellness and Beauty Center is a hidden gem in terms of massage. They're located at Lauback Road, Baguio City. It's the road past Citylights hotel and the intersection.

You'll have to send them a message if you're not good with maps. They are more than glad to respond and help you find them!

For reservations, contact 0917 256 2295

Price (Subject to Change)

Amenities

This spa has a wide and clean bed along with slippers, reusable underwear, an infrared sauna, shower and a dim room. It ma be a small place but they have a lot to offer! They even have nail gel polish and eyelash services apart from massage.

They do play your classic spa music but since the bed spaces are only divided by curtains, you may hear some chatter from other customers and therapists in the lobby.

You might want to come before or after the rush hours. It's not as cold here as well compared to other spas so you won't need to worry about freezing on the bed.

Watch out for their FREE SAUNA promos on their page!

Customer Service

8/10. The cashier lady is kind and inviting once you step into their glass doors. You'll notice their love for the jade color and oriental ornaments.

She'll call a therapist for you and they give you slippers and a robe (if you're gonna go to the sauna) or just lead you to one of the curtains where you can get changed.

Their therapists are trained and well-mannered. They also offer you hot tea once the session is done.

Mastery & Skill

9/10. I fell in love with their techniques especially with the deep tissue andacupressure massage. This massage really needs effort and technique and I think they did a great job. The traditional hilot is also well done.

Although they might forget a few moves (not doing the same thing from left to right), you won't feel like they're rushing the massage for the sake of the job.

I felt really satisfied with their massage and my body felt lighter and relaxed. That's something every spa should aim for.

Recommendations

I recommend the deep tissue massage upgraded to 1 hour and 30 mins! It's about P825.

Don't get it if marami kang kiliti but if you can take it, you'll really enjoy the technique. Pang tangal nung mga maliliit na pilay at lamig na nakakalat sa shoulders mo. You'll feel loose and vitalized after.

#1 Nuat Thai Foot & Body Massage - Leonard Wood

The Best Massage

Nuat Thai Foot & Body Massage is located at Leonard Wood Road, Baguio City (click to see Google Map location). It's a 12-minute walk from Session Road and it's right in front of the Teacher's camp gate.

I personally love it here because they have great therapists and atmosphere! You'll really get to relax after a long day.

For reservations, contact 0917 887 8345.

Price (Subject to Change)

Amenities

They have a parking lot good for 3-8 cars (the other lot included). You'll think the entrance is quite small but behind it is a long hallway of evenly spaced rooms separated by black-out curtains.

You'll be given slippers and let to a foot-washing sink (sarap sa feeling haha nakakahiya pa minsan). They'll gently wash your feet and dry them with a towel before leading you to your room with clean shorts.

In the summertime, they place a cooling fan beside you to help with the heat although the temperature is cool enough. During the cold seasons, you might want to get their Aromatherapy.

There's soothing music and dim lights to really relax you into your subconscious. You'll be seeing a typical restroom, not fancy but clean.

The only downside is some of the beds are stiff, although I personally don't mind because of such a lush atmosphere haha. They also only accept cash so remember to withdraw in the nearby ATM machines (The Marketplace) or before you get there.

Customer Service

A 10/10 for me! The cashier lady will ask you to sign in and mention the service you want. Then, their kind therapists will take care of you. There's not much to say since they're good at what they do!

Mastery & Skill

10/10. I'm a sucker for skillful hands! So far, they've been consistent with their techniques. Meaning, what they do to your left foot, they will do to your right 😂.

Though they have a few personal techniques (per therapist), they follow some moves signature to Nuat Thai only.

May "lamig" or pilay ren ako everytime I go there and they're so sweet to ask

"Ma'am tunawin ko lang po itong lamig niyo ha."

I'm not joking when I say a lot of massage therapists do random things sometimes. Luckily, they don't.

What Should You Try?

Try their package AromaVentosa + Thai foot massage. It's P1100 pero grabe nakaka adik yung thai foot massage nila! It's a method using sticks to hit your foot's vital points. If you're a driver, you need this!

San Punta Mo?

I promise either one of these spas are worth your while. Maraming spa sa baguio pero sila yung nagstand out. Do you have other recommendations? Send me a message on my facebook page TheBaguioGirl PH or go through my blog for more valuable posts.

Thank you for reading! Mabuhay Baguio!
