Are you planning to have a relaxing vacation in Baguio? Unfortunately, these days it's not so simple anymore. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there are strict regulations in place before you can enter the city. Luckily, we're here to help you with that!

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to get to Baguio stress-free!

1. Create a BAGUIO VISITA Account

Baguio VISITA is a new arm of the local government formed in conjunction with the Department of Tourism and the Tourism Promotions Board to help tourists navigate the city. VISITA is an acronym for Visitor Information and Travel Assistance.

Follow these steps to create an account:

  1. Complete the registration form. Fill in your personal information (name, nationality, birth date, and so on), as well as your current address and contact information.

  2. For identification purposes, please provide a valid ID and a recent picture. Passports, SSS/UMIDs, driver's licenses, senior citizen IDs, and voter's IDs are all acceptable.

Go to BAGUIO VISITA's official website at Baguio Visita for more information.

2. Schedule a visit

Because visitors are limited to just 3000 each day, it is necessary to schedule your visit.

Follow these steps to do so:

  1. Make sure you're logged in to your account. A will show a menu with selections to you.

  2. SELECT SCHEDULE A VISIT from the menu. A form will be provided to you to fill out the form for scheduling.

  3. You'll be prompted to submit information regarding your trips, such as your starting location, destination, mode of transportation, travel dates, travel agency, hotel, or contact person in Baguio.

  4. Completing the HEALTH DECLARATION FORM is a must. You'll be asked about your present health (including whether or not you're suffering symptoms), exposure history, and other clinical data, then SUBMIT the form!

  5. Provide your hotel reservation confirmation as well as a comprehensive itinerary. After you've finished uploading your papers, click CONFIRM.

  6. Examine your inbox. Your application will be assessed when you complete the Health Declaration Form, which might take up to 24 hours. You should receive an email confirmation with a link to a QR Coded Tourist Pass once you've completed the process.

  7. The QTP is necessary. When you're in Baguio, have a copy with you at all times because you'll need to scan it at several checkpoints, including the triage area, hotel reception, and major tourist attractions.

3. Upon arrival, proceed to TRIAGE.

For NON-VACCINATED: Present a NEGATIVE COVID-19 test result.

Present a COVID-19 test result that is NEGATIVE. This applies to visitors who are at least 18 years old. The exam must be completed 72 hours before your scheduled arrival. If you haven't already done so, you can take the COVID-19 test when you arrive.

If you choose to receive a COVID-19 test upon arrival, you must provide either a paper copy of your COVID-19 test result done 72 hours before arrival OR a testing form.

If you have an RT-PCR, Rapid Antigen, or Saliva test result, it will be confirmed together with your health declaration at triage. If you choose to take a COVID-19 test when you arrive, you must have a copy of your testing form with you. An antigen test costs P500.

For FULLY-VACCINATED: Present Vaccination Card or Certificate

A vaccination card or certificate must be shown. This must display the vaccination facility. This is for those who are at least 18 years old. Only 14 days after having the second dose of a two-dose vaccination are you considered FULLY VACCINATED (only one for 1-dose vaccines).

And lastly, don’t forget to follow Baguio city’s health protocols at all times. Wear a facemask and a shield, especially when going out into crowded areas. Stay safe
