A lot of people are a sucker for warm lights and warm food - that's what this place offers. Indian cuisine is definitely on the list for a lot of food lovers out there. Thus, Ranee House of Curry should be on yours!
Pro Tip: If you're eating here for dinner, bring a jacket!
Directions
Start from the Pacdal Circle and pass the usual route going to Hotel Elizabeth Baguio. Instead of turning left to the hotel driveway, go straight till you see their white tent and al fresco dining. Check the map for easier directions.
Food & Service
One of the kuyas there will gladly escort you inside and explain the menu to you. It might be foreign to lot of people so you can always ask for his recommendation. He was very attentive and even gave me yogurt. Di kinaya yung anghang sis 😂
The pricing ranges from P160 to P260+. It's more expensive but considering the side dishes included, I have no complaints. Their full menu is posted below (subject to change).
We got the buttered chicken curry set, chicken masala set, and beef biryani. To get the whole experience I also recommend getting the set. It comes with side dishes, pita bread, and a small desert.
For drinks, go for the tamarind iced tea and chai tea (must-try!).
We weren't able to try out the deserts but we took the cheese samosa on our way home. You might want to buy a LOT because you might eat them all before you get home. Thus, our total was around P1100.
Pro Tip: They don't have ATM machines nearby so make sure to withdraw or prepare your gcash account for online payment.
Ambience
The building is actually a house they're still working on to get a bar up and maybe some acoustic nights. We're actually looking forward to that and will come back for sure to get a full experience. For now, enjoy the chilly and peaceful night of chatting and eating.
